Flip Flap Thank You Cards

Today I have not one, but five cards to share. Why am I sharing them all together? It's because they were all requested by one girl for five of her friends and they all look exactly the same, except for their colour scheme and the pictures used. In short, it's the same design in different colours. So let me get started.

When we were getting the design details straight, she requested specific colour schemes for each of her friends and when I saw that the colours co-ordinated with the pictures she gave me I was thrilled. Finally, someone who thinks like me!! :P

Anyway, as a flip flap card has a lot of area to cover, I thought why restrict the design to just one patterned paper per card? So I picked out a bunch of them and made a note of other details on a post it and sorted them using binder clips. I also picked put matching washi tapes but didn't end up using them. Here's a glimpse of the papers neatly grouped together with the colourful tapes. :)

The Flip Flap Card has two flaps and she wanted the same message on all cards, so once I was done cutting the PP out to the required size, I printed the messages out together. :D

As these cards were Thank You Cards, I decided to add the sentiment on the Belly Band. So I cut out circles, embossed and distressed them before stamping the sentiment (surprisingly, I am not able to figure out which stamp set that's from. I know it's one of the Stamps of Life sets, but I couldn't find which one. I went through all my stamps 3 times and when I still couldn't find it, I went through all the stamps on their website, but still no luck! I guess this was a magic stamp!)

Here the belly bands are all ready to hold the flaps of the cards together.

As all cards look the same, I'll just leave you with pictures. I have decorated the insides of the two flaps and the main panel with banners that have been cut out from the same and/or similar patterned papers as the ones used on the card. Then, I pierced two holes and ran twine through them. They are adhered on the card panels using foam squares. :)

That's all for now and I will be back with another page from the Birthday Scrapbook. I have already shared 3 pages (1 | 2 | 3) and there are six more to go!!

Till then,
Happy Crafting!!

Love,
Nikita.. :)
