I was planning on posting yesterday, but turns out it was my turn to post on the Lulupu Blog and as much as I love blogging, I can only handle one post in a day. :P So anyway, today I am here to share the third page of the 5th Anniversary Scrapbook that I made in the beginning of this month.

For the base sheet, I used yet another pre-printed page from the My Sunshine 12x12 Paper Stack from DCWV; it made my life very easy :P There were two pictures that needed to be used on this layout and I adhered them with Tombo, and added Washi Tapes on the sides as accents. I also stamped geometric shapes (like in did in the previous page) and stamped them in Richo Cocoa and Tangelo.

The Save The Date paper pad by Kaisercraft has this gorgeous sheet full on pinwheels adorned with glitter. Using that sheet on a card would mean wasting ALL of those pinwheels on ONE CARD. So I cut them out so that I could use them on many projects.. :P

Between two photos, I pasted the phrase 'Time with you' cut out from a sheet from the Echo Park For the Record 2 Documented, 12x12 Collection Kit.

I used a Manila Tag (#8) from Inkssentials for the Page Title and Journaling. The 'So Fun' button is from an American Crafts 12x12 Scrapbooking Kit, and this one probably came in my first Lulupu DT kit. I still had a few things left, so I thought I'd use them. For the title alphabets, I've used the Memory Box Lower Case Alphabet die.
It is sooooo amazing. With thickers and alphabet stickers, sometimes the essential alphabets (vowels, mostly) are used up earlier, and it is tough so make up sensible words from the rest. But with the alphabet dies, you can cut out as many letters as you want AND in whatever colour you want. So no only are your alphabets enough to complete the sentence or phrase, you can colour co-ordinate them with your project! :D :D
For this page, I have used chocolate brown CS for the letters. The speech bubble has been cut out from a 6x6 Paper from Bo Bunny's Ad Lib Paper pad. And of course, I couldn't get enough of the pinwheels, so I added a few here and there every chance I got!! ;)

I added a pinwheel at the bottom of the tag along with a speech bubble like the one I used in the picture above.

The journaling card is from Echo Park's For The Record 2 Documented, 12x12 Collection kit and I did the journaling by hand. :)

And now for the picture of the entire page!!!

Cute, right? I surprised myself when this turned out. When I started this, I was a hardcore card-maker. But now, I am slowly turning into a scrapbooker too :)

Here is the list of the products used for this page..

The next time I'm here, I will share a page (or two) from a Mini-Album I made at the beginning of the month, just before I started with this scrapbook! :)

Till then, have a nice day!!!

Love,
Nikita.. :)
